Delete your account

You can permanently delete your KEMSTRY account yourself. You never need to email us for it.

How to delete

  • Open KEMSTRY and sign in.
  • Go to Profile → Privacy centre.
  • Scroll to Delete account.
  • Type DELETE to confirm.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, KEMSTRY ID, photos and uploaded files
  • Interests, badges and linked social accounts
  • Connections, likes, matches and messages you sent
  • Community memberships, posts and comments
  • Events you organised, attendance and listings
  • All contact-matching hashes and contact matches
  • Notifications and referral links

What may be kept

Limited safety and moderation records — for example, reports made about serious harm — may be retained where we are legally required to keep them, or to protect other people. They are never used to build a public profile of you.

Deletion is permanent

There is no undo and no recovery window. If you'd rather take a break, turn off discovery and search visibility in the Privacy centre instead — your account stays, but nobody can find you.
